“Smoke Rings in the Dark” is a classic late-90’s song by Gary Allen that peaked at number 12 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs chart in February 2000. The dance to this song is special in that it can be taught and danced as a line OR partner dance. It is a beginner level line dance and an intermediate circle dance due to some different hand changes.
Recently, some of our instructors taught the dance Blue Rose. It is a beginner partner circle dance that can be danced to many different songs. There are a few variations that can add flair and excitement to the otherwise basic steps.
We learned the art of sharing when we were about two years old, right? Look out on a crowded dance floor and you might not think so! People bumping into each other and elbows getting thrown around like they’re free are common occurrences. Are some of y’all two stepping with your eyes closed?
